Tax Policy
Tax incentives are a proven tool for encouraging consumers and businesses to adopt energy efficiency, stimulating construction, manufacturing, and other economic activity while significantly reducing carbon emissions and lowering energy bills.
Tax Advocacy
The Alliance is leading the charge to modernize and expand energy efficiency tax incentives for the built environment, rallying a diverse group of stakeholders around proposals that would stimulate significant new demand for efficiency improvements in homes and buildings. Particularly with devastating job losses directly resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are urging Congress to pass these proposals as quickly as possible.
