Due to the uncertainty around the COVID-19 Delta variant, we have made the hard decision to cancel the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Gala as originally scheduled for September 23 in Washington, D.C. While we are disappointed that “energy prom” will not happen as we know it this year, the safety of our guests is the utmost priority. We are currently looking at hosting a series of small, regional receptions to honor our 2021 award winners both safely and with a celebration that shines as bright as these Stars deserve. Join us for a virtual policy perspectives breakfast diving into the Main Street Efficiency Act of 2021 on September 9, 2021 at 10 a.m. EST. Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.), who is leading the legislation in the House, will provide an overview of how Main Street will help small businesses lift up small businesses during a time of economic hardship by investing in energy efficiency upgrades.
