Ellie Long joined the Alliance in May 2020. As the Communications Associate, she assists with content development, media relations, and social media for the Alliance. Previously, she interned with the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee communications team, as well as in the District Office of a California congresswoman.

Ellie grew up in Seattle, WA, and attended college at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA, where she received degrees in Political Science and Global Studies. Outside of her studies, she served as editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, worked in the English Department and received a research fellowship through the Communications Department.
