Join us at the next Alliance event
Featuring leading experts and stakeholders in the efficiency community, Alliance events move us toward our goal of a more energy-efficient world through starting dynamic conversations on principal issues, launching new initiatives, and honoring champions.
Connected homes affect multiple sectors, requiring cross-sector partnerships and cooperation to achieve large-scale adoption. This session is intended to bring together key players --product manufacturers, utilities, software/data analytics and policy makers --for a discussion on the policy and market opportunities and challenges facing this industry.
The Clean Power Plan rule is the first regulation to place limits on power plants’ CO2 emissions. Released by the Environmental Protection Agency on August 3rd, 2015, the final Clean Power Plan Rule requires each State to develop a plan to cut power plants’ CO2 emissions by specific targets.
Please join us on Wednesday, October 28th for an intimate discussion with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Under Secretary for Science and Energy, Dr. Franklin (Lynn) Orr. As DOE's Under Secretary, Dr. Orr advises the Secretary and Deputy Secretary on clean energy technology, science and energy research initiatives. He also oversees six DOE offices, including the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
