Join us at the next Alliance event
Featuring leading experts and stakeholders in the efficiency community, Alliance events move us toward our goal of a more energy-efficient world through starting dynamic conversations on principal issues, launching new initiatives, and honoring champions.
On October 3, the Alliance held Great Energy Efficiency Day - Part II, where members of the Alliance Commission on National Energy Efficiency Policy (EE Commission) unveiled a highly anticipated series of policy reports. The EE Commission, a diverse, bipartisan group, aims to reach consensus on a set of federal policies to double energy productivity between 2011 and 2030 and make the United States one of the world’s most energy-efficient economies.
Energy costs are an enormous expense for U.S. schools – approximately $6 billion each year. In many schools, energy costs are second only to personnel costs, exceeding the cost of textbooks and supplies. Through programs like the Alliance’s PowerSave Schools and PowerSave Campus, students and schools are empowered to make energy efficient choices.
Summer officially began on June 20 and as the temperature rise so do your energy bill. Our air conditioners work harder and harder to keep us cool as summer progresses, but there is a way to beat the heat and save money!
