November 9, 2015 | Hutchinson

Kansas has been the center of national attention in the last several years due to unprecedented and unaffordable tax policy changes. The extreme policies have drained the state’s savings accounts, caused historic revenue loss and resulted in mid-year budget cuts to critical investments in Kansas communities. Annie and Duane will explain how Kansas came to find itself in a perpetual budget crisis, what the near future holds and what can be done to put the Sunflower State back on a path of growth and broadly shared prosperity.

November 9, 2015 | Durango

Colorado will develop a response to the Clean Power Plan through a public process. The process will include opportunities for input from diverse stakeholders across Colorado.  This meeting is part of the Four Corners Air Quality Group annual meeting. Division staff will be available at a table during a poster session to record limited verbal or written public comments on Colorado’s development of a state Clean Power Plan. The division will not make a public presentation on the Clean Power Plan.
