Continuing EPA's unprecedented public engagement and outreach on the Clean Power Plan, EPA will hold four, two-day public hearings across the country on the proposed federal plan and model rules for the Clean Power Plan. The hearings will be held in mid-November in Pittsburgh, Denver, Atlanta and Washington, DC. The hearings provide interested parties the opportunity to present data, views or arguments concerning the proposed action.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is announcing four public hearings to be held on the proposed “Federal Plan Requirements for Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Electric Utility Generating Units Constructed on or before January 8, 2014; Model Trading Rules; Amendments to Framework Regulations.” The hearings will provide interested parties the opportunity to present data, views, or arguments concerning the proposed action. The EPA will make every effort to accommodate all speakers who wish to register to speak at the hearing venue on the day of the hearing.

November 12, 2015 | Beulah

The Department of Health will be holding a public comment period and four public meetings to solicit comments regarding the development of the state’s plan for reducing carbon dioxide emissions from existing power plants. The Department is seeking input on several issues as well as any other issues commenter’s believe may be pertinent to the plan development.
