The Alliance has worked to advance industrial energy efficiency for more than 25 years by supporting technology solutions and energy efficiency programs, promoting best practices, performing research and analysis, developing standards, and furthering national energy efficiency policies.
Addressing water and energy use simultaneously can yield significant savings in both resources. The Alliance to Save Energy and multiple partners are working together to assist water and wastewater treatment agencies in efforts to improve the energy efficiency of their processes.
Energy management has significant potential to improve energy efficiency for a wide variety of industrial, but also commercial and institutional end users of energy. The Alliance Industrial Team has been a steadfast contributor to several industrial energy management tools, particularly the ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard.
The Alliance is working to advance the U.S. Council for Energy-Efficient Manufacturing (U.S. CEEM or the Council), which is a voluntary industry-led partnership engaging industry, government, and other stakeholders to help U.S. industry improve energy efficiency and competitiveness.
