The Energy Department's Office of Indian Energy and Tribal Energy Program along with the Western Area Power Administration will present the next live Tribal Renewable Energy Series webinar titled "Net Metering." The webinar will focus on the services provided by utility net metering and their importance in making projects cost-effective. Presenters Lori Bird, senior analyst at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Lenny Gold, principal at Utility Strategies Consulting Group, and Patrick McCulley, CEO at Black Rock Solar, will discuss how net metering is applied across the country, explore how utilities develop net metering policies and encourage participation, and present case studies on tribal metering agreements.
