Energy Codes in Action!” is the first national conference dedicated solely to energy codes since 2011. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, it offers a lively, solution-focused forum for all topics related to building energy codes with a special focus on compliance.

JEFFREY A. JOHNSON AWARD

The Jeffrey A. Johnson Award for Excellence in the Advancement of Building Energy Codes recognizes an individual or team in the United States for leadership in building energy codes in the pursuit of energy efficiency goals. THE JOLT SESSION

The Jolt Session gives all attendees a chance to say what’s really on their mind on important topics facing the energy codes community. Break out of the box and hear others do the same! Topics and details to be announced soon.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Energy code users and participants of all types! Building officials, builders, state energy offices, trade associations, energy efficiency organizations, architects, engineers, policymakers, manufacturers, utilities, code administrators, educators and researchers.

TRAVEL SUPPORT

Support for travel costs is available for State and Municipal employees, including individuals from building departments and state energy offices. Funding for travel support is limited. In order to support a diverse group of state and local officials, priority for travel support will be based on both the timing of the request and geographic location. To submit a request, please contact buildingenergycodes@ee.doe.gov.
