For their next Rethinking Seminar, Johns Hopkins University and the Applied Physics Laboratory will host Edward Chow - a Senior Fellow in the Energy and National Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He is an international energy expert with more than 30 years of oil industry experience and has worked in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, Europe, and the former Soviet Union. For the Rethinking Seminar, Mr. Chow will discuss the renaissance in U.S. oil and gas production, trends in world-wide energy production and use, the geopolitical consequences of new sources of energy and trade, and the potential international security consequences.
