Please attend this meeting hosted by the Maryland Climate Commission, which is charged with advising the Governor and General Assembly on ways to mitigate the causes of, prepare for, and adapt to the consequences of climate change. The Commission voted unanimously to endorse legislation that would cut Maryland’s greenhouse gas emissions 40% by the year 2030.

Learn more about the Commission’s recommendations for the Governor and General Assembly on ways to mitigate the causes of, prepare for, and adapt to the consequences of climate change and maintaining and strengthening the State’s existing Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Plan. In addition, learn the main issues that the Commission will be working on in 2016.
