The Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE), Association of Energy Engineer (AEE), EU Alliance to Save Energy, Efficiency Canada, and Energy Efficiency Council of Australia are leading an effort to coalesce business support for prioritizing the doubling of energy efficiency improvements as a faster, less expensive, and ready-now economic solution that will be a key outcome at COP 31.
We urge your company or organization to sign on to the letter below that will be sent to COP 31 leadership and announced at Climate Week in September.
COP 31 Presidency, has prioritized the goal of doubling the rate of energy efficiency in the COP 31 Action Agenda.
Businesses and organizations must show our ongoing commitment to delivering energy efficiency solutions since affordable, accessible, and reliable energy is core to all global businesses.
Tapping into the first fuel–energy efficiency–reduceing the strain on our grid, lowers operational costs for businesses, and improves competitiveness. Other key benefits of energy efficiency investments include job creation, risk management and resilience, GHG reductions, and an effective way to meet growing demand.
