Kara O’Connell manages the Alliance’s Communications, Events & Marketing and Stakeholder Relations teams.
Kara joined the Alliance in 2005 as the Director of Events, where she was responsible for developing and launching Energy Efficiency Global Forum. Since then she has served in several capacities including Vice President of Events & Marketing and Vice President of Public & Corporate Relations.
Prior to joining the Alliance Kara was the Director of Conferences for the Electric Drive Transportation Association. She received her bachelor’s in Visual and Written Arts and Society from Gettysburg College.
