Kara O'Connell

Kara O’Connell, Vice President of Public and Corporate Affairs, manages the Alliance’s Public and Corporate Relations team, whose portfolio of work includes the Associates program and Alliance-hosted events, including the Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner and the Energy Efficiency Global Forum & Exposition

Prior to assuming this role, Kara served for three years as the Director of Events, where she was responsible for developing and launching the EE Global conference series, as well as planning other Alliance-hosted events. Kara previously worked as the Director of Conferences for the Electric Drive Transportation Association. She received her bachelor's degree in visual and written arts and society from Gettysburg College in 2000.
