On October 5, 2018, individuals and organizations across the country will join together to promote the benefits of energy efficiency on the third annual nationwide Energy Efficiency Day.

The Energy Efficiency Day message is simple: “Save energy. Save money.” Participants across the country will share social media posts promoting the benefits of energy efficiency under the hashtag #EEDay2018. Cities, counties, and states are officially declaring Energy Efficiency Day with proclamations. Individuals will take steps to reduce energy waste.

Energy Efficiency Day is a collaborative effort of dozens of energy efficiency advocacy groups around the United States; the Alliance serves on the steering committee. Since the inaugural Energy Efficiency Day in 2016, this annual awareness event has been supported by hundreds of prominent organizations, companies, government agencies, and others.
