The Department of Energy will present a live webinar titled “Frontier Observatory for Research in Geothermal Energy (FORGE) Funding Opportunity Announcement Informational Webinar.”

The webinar will focus on the Energy Department’s $31 million funding solicitation to establish the initial phases of a field laboratory dedicated to cutting-edge research on enhanced geothermal systems (EGS). As part of the webinar, the Energy Department will provide potential FORGE FOA applicants with an overview of FOA objectives, applicant submission and process, and evaluation and selection process. The webinar will be hosted by Lauren Boyd, EGS Program Manager at the Energy Department, along with members of the FORGE procurement team, to answer questions from webinar participants.
