Copper Development Association

The Copper Development Association (CDA) is the market development, engineering and information services arm of the copper industry in the United States.

Among its activities, CDA provides:

• Technical services to end users
• Design, product and technical publications
• Research and development
• News bureau and website
• The Copper Data Center CDA strives to educate electrical end users on the value of maximizing electrical energy efficiency.

It promotes the many returns on investment afforded by premium-efficiency motors, transformers and upsized wiring. It led research in development of the die-cast copper motor rotor that enables the highest levels of motor efficiency.
