Join the Alliance to Save Energy for our monthly Energy Efficiency Coalition Call, bringing together energy efficiency stakeholders for federal policy updates, member updates, and discussion of key issues shaping the sector.
This month, we are pleased to welcome Derrick Meeking, Director of Market Development Initiatives at Walker-Miller Energy Services, for a special guest discussion:
Empowering People, Enriching Communities: A Human-Centered Approach to the Clean Energy Workforce
Derrick will share how workforce programs can better connect people and communities to opportunities in the clean energy economy. Drawing on lessons from real-world implementation, the discussion will explore why successful workforce strategies must go beyond training and credentials to consider the human factors that shape access, participation, and economic mobility.
