Federal energy efficiency programs are a catalyst of innovation, investment, and technology deployment that are critical to maintaining U.S. leadership in a rapidly growing global efficiency economy.

Report Language Chart

Report language that accompanies appropriations bills provides context for the bill language, including congressional intent, directives to agencies, and explanations of the bill. The Alliance has created a side-by-side comparison for the Energy and Water appropriations measure, which includes key efficiency programs such as the Advanced Manufacturing Office, Building Technologies Office, Federal Energy Management Program, and the Weatherization Assistance Program, as well as a comparison chart for the Interior and Environment appropriations bill, which includes ENERGY STAR. This chart compares the language of the FY2021 joint statement to the language included in the House and Senate reports.
