Senior Associate, Policy

Olivia Leos is a senior associate in the policy team, where she tracks and reports policy issues related to transportation and energy efficiency equity development, in addition to assisting in the development of funding and legislative proposals. She also supports strategic planning for increasing Alliance Congressional and administration outreach and engagement.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Olivia served as a natural resource specialist in the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality modelling and monitoring air quality data, in addition to managing projects that assessed the validity of air quality calculations. Previously, she served as a program director for a food pantry in Bloomington, Indiana— coordinating volunteers, working with the Bloomington community to increase outreach, and implementing strategic plans to decrease food insecurity in the area through coordinated partnerships. Olivia also has experience at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation where she conducted in-depth qualitative data analyses of the potential environmental and social impacts of international projects in developing nations.

Olivia has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, Texas as well as a Master of Science in Environmental Science and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University.
