As the Project Manager for Communications and Media Relations, Michael Timberlake manages all of the Alliance’s social media platforms, press inquiries, statements and releases to the media, online outreach, advocacy campaigns, and manages and is a main contributor to the Alliance's Blog to Save Energy.
Timberlake joined the Alliance in April 2012 after two years as the digital media strategist for major trade associations, non-profits, and numerous Fortune 100 companies at Rational 360.
Timberlake graduated from Marquette University in 2009 with a bachelor’s in Political Science, History, and Journalism. He originally is from Lenexa, Kansas and also holds Capitol Hill experience, working in the press office for Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA).
