As Vice President of Stakeholder Relations, Courtney Galatioto oversees the Alliance’s fundraising efforts and Associate membership program. In this role, she manages the development of program offerings, the engagement and retention of existing members, and the cultivation of corporate and individual support to further the efficiency goals of the organization and its partners. Courtney joined the Alliance in 2013, and previously served as the Director of Stakeholder Relations.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Courtney was an energy policy fellow and led a public university through an energy policy revision. This work included modernizing the university’s energy policy, ensuring state-mandates were addressed, and providing recommendations on how to achieve reduced environmental impacts through facility and behavior-driven initiatives.
Courtney has a master’s degree in government from the John Hopkins University, with a focus on climate change, energy, and security. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and classical studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
