Allison Miller joined the Alliance in August 2018 and is a part of the education team. She assists teachers and school districts throughout the state of California with implementing energy efficient and environmentally conscious curriculum.
Prior to joining the Alliance, she taught middle school mathematics in New Orleans, where she distinguished herself as an innovator of new blended learning models, practices and strategies. Allison also taught at the university level. She worked as a graduate teaching assistant at UCLA for the departments of gender studies, sociology and African American studies. Her work within the Alliance is driven by a commitment to social justice and sustainability.
Allison has an MA in African American studies from UCLA and a BA in History/American studies from Grinnell College.
