Oleksandr Nikolaienko, Energy Program Coordinator in Ukraine is responsible for providing technical supporting to the Municipal Heating Reform Project in Ukraine.
Oleksandr specializes in designing and supervising projects on metering and controlling systems installation as well as implementation of projects on energy efficiency and energy monitoring. He also has considerable experience in performing energy audits of industrial, commercials, municipal and residential buildings.
With more than five years as energy auditor and head of energy auditors team with his previous employers, Oleksandr worked on development of recommendations on improving sanitary norms, energy consumption regulations, and energy models for buildings, plants and production lines in Ukraine.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Oleksandr was involved in implementation of Energy Efficiency Project in Kyiv Public Buildings, which was financed by a World Bank loan. As a result of this project, annual emission of CO2 was decreased by 80,000 tons.
Oleksandr has a master's of science degree in energy management and bachelor degree in electrical engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine.
