Michael Timberlake

Michael Timberlake joined the Alliance in April 2012, after two years as a digital media strategist for major trade associations and Fortune 100 companies. As the Senior Associate for Publications and Social Media Outreach, Timberlake manages the Alliance’s social media vehicles and online outreach efforts.

Previously, Timberlake lead digital media efforts for Fortune 100 companies, managed major social media accounts, developed and ran digital media trainings for GE and Pfizer, and holds experience in employing social media during crisis communications.

Timberlake graduated from Marquette University in 2009 with a bachelor’s in Political Science and Journalism. He originally is from Lenexa, Kansas and also holds Capitol Hill experience, working in the press office for Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA).
