Meghan Kearns is a Program Associate on the Education Team and began working for the PowerSave Campus Program in June 2011. She serves as the campus lead for the UC Merced, CSU Long Beach, UC San Diego, and San Diego State University PowerSave Campus teams. In this position, Meghan trains and supervises student interns who implement energy efficiency projects on their campuses. Additionally, Meghan manages the hiring, termination, and timesheet processes for all 16 California PowerSave Campus Program teams. She works out of the Alliance to Save Energy’s Oakland, California office.

Meghan holds a B.S. in Psychology from Appalachian State University and a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Western Carolina University. At WCU she served as graduate assistant to the campus energy manager. In her position, Meghan directly contributed to the programs that earned WCU the title of "Top 311 Green Institutions" by The Princeton Review in 2011.
