Joseph Jagassar

Joseph Jagassar is a web and graphic design professional with more than 10 years of experience in open source content management systems, logo design, branding/corporate identity, new media and social networking.

He joined the Alliance to Save Energy in January 2011 as the program manager for internet and email communications. He now supports the Communications team in raising consumer awareness about energy efficiency using social networking and consumer-specific Web strategies to engage users and create a public forum to show and share energy saving ideas.

Prior to joining the Alliance to Save Energy, Joseph founded All Things Techie, a Washington, D.C.,-based network of experienced design professionals offering a complete set of integrated multimedia and graphic design services. Their work, including a banner design for the Corporation for National and Community Service, has been used for service events with President Obama and on “The Today Show” with Jon Bon Jovi. Other clients have included the National Institute of Health and communication professionals and firms. Joseph has also worked as a technology advisor with Sikorsky Aircraft, Verizon Wireless and Tweeter Home Entertainment Group.

Joseph has attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, specializing in Software Engineering, and the University of New Haven, specializing in Computer Sciences.
