Astghine Pasoyan joined the Alliance in 2001 as the Armenia Office Director and since 2004 serves as a Senior International Project Manager leading Alliance’s Southeast European and CIS operations.
Astghine is a seasoned expert in energy efficiency policy in Central Eastern Europe/Commonwealth of Independent States with more than 15 years of experience. Over the past nine years she has managed energy efficiency planning and legal reform efforts and market assessment and identification of potential for promotion of energy conservation and efficiency in various sectors of economy, including energy saving potential assessment and economic modeling skills, climate change and investment climate for energy efficiency in countries in transition, design of innovative energy efficiency financing schemes, policy reform and capacity building.
Astghine holds master’s degrees in environmental management from Brown University and in international economics form Yerevan State University.
