Alexandra Straub, Events & Marketing project manager, provides content development and management for the Alliance's website and publications, and provides direct support for the Alliance's signature events including the Energy Efficiency Global Forum (EE Global).
Prior to taking on this role, Alex served as the primary speech writer for the president of the Alliance and provided support to the Corporate & Executive Relations team through NGO Associate relations and management of the Alliance’s activities in industry-related events; including at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and other Alliance executive office projects.
Alex began her career with the Alliance in 2006 as the Policy intern and returned to the Alliance in 2009 as the Executive Assistant to the President. Before joining the Alliance as a full-time employee, Alex worked at the Washington, DC-based information services research firm, Hanover Research Council. At Hanover, Alex served as a development associate and assisted the managing director in the creation of the company’s grant development and management program, Hanover Grants.
Alex is a native of El Paso, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy Studies from Vanderbilt University in 2008.
