Aaron has over five years of experience specializing in environmental education. He has served in a variety of positions both in and out of the classroom and started out as a field educator. He has worked on energy efficiency education programs with the Center for Neighborhood Technologies in Chicago, and he has led Low Carbon Diet workshops for communities in Chicago and D.C.
Since 2008, Aaron has worked for an after-school environmental education and leadership development program that served low-income middle school students in Washington, DC. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C. he served as the Assistant Director for the Moran Outdoor School in Washington state.
In addition to his work at the Alliance to Save Energy, Aaron works with hospitals to reduce their waste through training programs and infrastructure changes.
