In addition to a Washington, DC-based International team of nine, the Alliance currently has 26 staff and consultants working on five continents on a variety of programs and activities, each matching the needs and goals of our local partners.
The Alliance's International Programs work with local partners in the developing world and countries in transition to establish replicable energy-efficiency policies and programs. Working both on the national level (as in Ukraine) and on the local level (as with the Sustainable Cities Initiative), the Alliance strives to implement results-oriented projects and build host countries’ capacity to develop and carry out their own energy-efficiency initiatives.
