Offered by Wilson Educational Services Inc., the Savings Through Energy Management (STEM) Program is an interactive course designed for students in grades 7-12th that teaches the fundamentals of building energy usage through a comprehensive audit of the school. It is presented in five, full-day sessions, one day a week over five weeks, to a group of approximately 25 students.

Students prepare an official audit report for school officials with recommendations for energy-saving improvements and estimated electricity and fuel savings. STEM challenges students to exercise advanced math and science skills and offers practical skills for career building. Check out the STEM Program website for more information.
