WHAT: Energy Efficiency Global Forum (eeglobalforum.org), the Alliance to Save Energy’s fourth annual “must-attend” world-class energy efficiency conference, is now an official event of EU Sustainable Energy Week. It takes place April 12-14, 2011, in Brussels, Belgium, epicenter of governance for the European Union.
The Energy Efficiency Global Forum (EE Global) convenes energy efficiency leaders from around the world for a three-day conference (see agenda) to power the emerging clean-energy economy. Speakers and attendees – ranging from members of the European Parliament to appliance manufacturers – will share the latest industry trends in an effort to make energy efficiency the world’s “first fuel.”
A conference highlight will be the unveiling of an energy-efficiency makeover of the residence of U.S. Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman (details in subsequent advisories). The Alliance and the League of Green Embassies plan a media event showcasing the transformation.
The Solutions Showcase displays the latest energy-efficient products and systems, offering hands-on encounters with the newest technologies and face-to-face conversations with the innovators behind them.
Working journalists can now register free of charge and find hotel and travel information on the EE Global website.
