Gene Rodrigues is the Director of Customer Energy Efficiency & Solar for Southern California Edison Company. In this capacity, Gene oversees SCE’s portfolio of Energy Efficiency, Low Income Energy Efficiency, Low Income Rate Assistance, California Solar Initiative and Self Generation Incentive programs.
Gene is a member of the Steering Committee for the Alliance's Global Action Network for Energy Efficiency Education. GANE3 is a new advocacy and support group which brings together practitioners and implementers to share best practices, coordinate existing resources, and draw new institutional and government support to integrating energy efficiency education into environmental education offerings.
Gene also serves on the boards of directors of the Consortium for Energy Efficiency, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, and the China-US Energy Efficiency Alliance. Beyond these board positions, Gene also serves on the Leadership Group for the State Energy Efficiency Action Network and the Strategy Committee for EEI's Institute for Energy Efficiency.
