The EPA has established a Clean Energy Incentive Program (CEIP), as part of the Clean Power Plan, to reward early investments in renewable energy generation and demand-side energy efficiency measures. This program provides incentives for early investment in wind or solar projects and demand-side energy efficiency projects implemented in low-income communities. State participation in the program is optional.
Organizers will post an agenda closer to the meeting date and send it through Listserv.
Topics of the stakeholder meeting will include the following: 1) overview of the proposed Clean Energy Incentive Program; 2) discussion about portions of the rule open to comment; and 3) formation of a subgroup focused on this incentive program.
