In this Energy and Environment Breakfast, ICF International welcomes energy experts who will discuss the substantial increase in energy use efficiency due to a variety of utility, state, and federal programs. As a result of these programs, there is more economic output for every dollar of energy expenditure. The discussion will address important questions about the future of energy efficiency (EE), including: How much more potential is there for EE? Could new technologies make a significant change in energy consumption, or is it a series of small steps? Will the new EPA 111(d) regulations really promote EE, or will it be hard to attribute emissions reductions to EE? And then the bottom line: Does EE investment continue to have a good payback—and for whom?

Speakers:

  • Gene Rodrigues
    Vice President, ICF International
  • Kateri Callahan
    President, Alliance to Save Energy
