Join us November 16th to get a closer look at Energy I-Corps, DOE’s premier program to bring a market-based mindset into the national labs. Energy I-Corps pairs teams of national lab researchers with industry mentors for an intensive two-month training program on understanding market needs and pathways. Since its start in 2015, nearly 150 researchers from 10 DOE national labs have gone through the program.

A panel session from 1:00-2:00 pm, moderated by DOE’s Dr. Johanna Wolfson, Director of the Technology-to-Market program, will kick off with a discussion on National Lab Technologies and the Private Sector with The Heritage Foundation’s Nick Loris. Our National Lab Researchers’ Perspective panel will follow, featuring Energy I-Corps alumni. This panel will explore the impact Energy I-Corps has had on national lab scientists’ research, where their technologies are today, and the outlook for partnering with private sector partners to bring technologies to market.

Additional details for the panel and all of the day’s activities can be found below.

You are welcome to join for any or all of the program; however, registration is required. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted in the order received. Please contact Melanie Cornell at melanie.cornell@ee.doe.gov with any questions. All sessions are closed to media.
