US BCSD Fall Meeting 2011
The United States Business Council for Sustainable Development (US BCSD) is a non-profit business association that provides opportunities for its members to work on authentic sustainability projects with industry, governmental and other key stakeholders who might not otherwise have the chance to collaborate and network. The projects generate economic returns while improving the environment and society — the triple bottom line.
The Fall Meeting is an action conference brought to you in two parts by the US BCSD and the Ygrene Energy Fund. First, participate and collaborate in US BCSD working groups and interactive panel discussions that explore and expand the relationships and work processes at the core of our success. Attendees will help develop and learn innovative solutions to address key sustainability challenges and embed sustainability into business operations.
And then, learn from key players how to launch and lead your Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) marketplace. State governments have passed legislation that enables cities and counties to offer the financial structure necessary to create a local clean economy. Join us in a groundbreaking workshop to learn how corporations, cities and counties can access immediately available and sustainable financing to launch a PACE program.
