Superior Energy Performance is a market-based, ANSI-accredited certification program that provides industrial facilities with a roadmap for achieving continual improvement in energy efficiency while boosting competitiveness. This program—developed by the U.S. Council for Energy-Efficient Manufacturing (U.S. CEEM)—will provide a transparent, globally accepted system for validating energy intensity performance improvement.
A foundational element of Superior Energy Performance is the use of the ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard. ISO 50001 establishes an internationally recognized standard by which industrial plants and commercial facilities, as well as government and institutional organizations manage energy use. Based on broad applicability across economic sectors, this standard could influence up to 60 percent of the world's energy use across many economic sectors.
Join practitioners from U.S. industrial, commercial and institutional sectors as they discuss the significance of Superior Energy Performance and the ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard, and their projected U.S. deployment schedules.
