Responsible for providing energy services and solutions, program management strategy and new project development in the Federal, State, Local government and Commercial Marketplaces. Mr. Johnston has more than 22 years of industry experience, including 16 years as a manager for commercial and government energy efficiency, renewable energy solutions, supply and demand management programs. Through his development teams, a collaborative partnership is created with clients, to build projects that are rooted in financially guaranteed energy and operation cost savings and measurable performance. During this career, he has helped develop more than 90 Performance Contracts and Design Build projects — totaling nearly $900 million contract value — with the Federal, State and Local Government, Utilities, and commercial clients. His specialty is structured financing and innovative contracting mechanisms that leverage intelligent risk taking with optimizing returns on investment.
