Representing the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) at the Alliance's October 2010 Efficient Lighting Phase-In Webinar, Kevin Brosnahan, supervisory energy technology program specialist with the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE) Office of Technology Advancement and Outreach, discussed the activities underway at DOE to address the phase-in of efficient lighting.
Brosnahan reported that the government’s outreach agenda includes “Lighting Facts” labels, which are similar to the widespread nutritional labels.
