Ken Roden is Nissan North America’s Energy Team Facilitator.His primary responsibilities are to facilitate energy meetings, chair committees and coordinate activities for the energy team. Ken also represents Nissan’s energy program at various energy meetings, webinars and conferences.
Ken has an Electrical Engineering degree from Gadsden State University in Gadsden, Alabama and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).At Nissan, Ken has worked within the manufacturing environment and held most plant maintenance management and engineering positions. In 2006 he began working with Nissan’s energy management program.
He is a member of the National and Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and leads Nissan’s partnerships within ENERGY STAR® and the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings, Better Plants program.His recent activities include Nissan Americas Energy and Sustainability team, ISO50001 and Superior Energy Performance implementation team and the Nissan supplier energy programs.
Ken resides in Smyrna, Tennessee with his wife and daughter.
