Jeff Genzer is a senior shareholder and Vice-President of Duncan, Weinberg, Genzer & Pembroke, P.C., where he has practiced energy and environmental law since 1985. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Genzer served as the staff counsel and energy lobbyist for the National Governors Association. Jeff also worked at the National Consumer Law Center. He began work in the energy area as Peace Corps Volunteer in the 1970s in Micronesia.
Mr. Genzer has been counsel to the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), since the organization began in 1986. He also serves as counsel to the National Association of Energy Service Companies, the National Energy Assistance Directors Association, the Energy Programs Consortium, the National Home Performance Council, and a number of other energy efficiency and renewable energy associations.
Jeff’s practice has focused on energy, environmental and utility law and regulation. He has appeared before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state public utility commissions. He has been involved in all phases and types of energy project development.
