EE Policy Perspectives Featuring Senator Lisa Murkowski

The Alliance to Save Energy invites you to an exclusive Policy Perspectives breakfast with Senator Lisa Murkowski, the ranking Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Senator Murkowski has long advocated for a balanced approach to energy policy that would promote development of renewable, nuclear and alternative energy; increase production of domestic oil and natural gas reserves; and prioritize energy efficiency and energy conservation.

In the 111th Congress, Murkowski and colleagues on the Senate ENR Committee jointly drafted a comprehensive – and bipartisan – energy bill, the American Clean Energy Leadership Act of 2009, S 1462. The 112th Congress presents new challenges and opportunities to unite around balanced, achievable energy policy.

Please join us for this exciting opportunity to hear Senator Murkowski share her vision for energy efficiency in the 112th Congress.

Contact Heather Rubacky (hrubacky@ase.org) for information on how to register. Please RSVP by February 3, 2011. Space is limited.
