  • China Energy and Environment Conference (CEEC) is the only conference hosted by Harvard and MIT students dedicated solely to China’s energy and environment issues.

Key Organizers:

  • The China Society and Energy & Environment student groups at Harvard Kennedy School

Our Mission:

  • Discerning the critical challenges China faces and searching for solutions
  • Enhancing U.S.-China collaboration on energy and environmental issues
  • Offering meaningful opportunities for networking and career development

Issues Covered in Panels:

  • Energy and National Security: ensuring oil and gas supply
  • Rural Environmental Issues: coping with rapid development
  • The Future of Transportation: highway, rail, and alternative fuels
  • Shifting from Coal: the future of renewable electricity

Agenda:

  • Keynote speakers discussing US-China cooperation (confirmed: Sue Tierney)
  • Four distinct panels, career fair, and networking reception (i.e. business/investment groups)
