2009 Policy Summit - All Roads to Copenhagen

On September 17, 2009, this Alliance policy summit assembled global leaders in Washington, DC for a discussion on the role energy efficiency must play in global climate protocol.

During the event, representatives from industry, government, and the consumer interest community addressed the need to use energy efficiency as the quickest, cleanest, and cheapest means of reducing greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.

Following the Summit, on the night of September 17th, the Alliance hosted the 17th annual Evening With the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner.

The Russell building entrance is located on the corner of Constitution Avenue and Delaware Avenue, NE.

Getting to Capitol Hill by Metro:
Using the Metro is highly recommended, as parking in the area is limited. Take the Metro Red Line to the Union Station stop. The Russell building is 2 to 3 blocks south of Union Station, and is a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Street parking is available at Union Station, but limited.
