On Thursday, September 20, 2007, energy efficiency advocates gathered at the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Alliance to Save Energy.  The keynote speakers provided a retrospective on the last 30 years of energy efficiency, and insight on the important role efficiency must play in a sustainable future.

The Russell building entrance is located on the corner of Constitution Avenue and Delaware Avenue, NE.

Getting to Capitol Hill by Metro:
Using the Metro is highly recommended, as parking in the area is limited. Take the Metro Red Line to the Union Station stop. The Russell building is 2 to 3 blocks south of Union Station, and is a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Getting to Capitol Hill by Car:
Street parking is available at Union Station, but limited.
