A global leader in telepresence technology, AT&T is working with CDP – an independent nonprofit housing the world’s largest corporate climate change database – to further quantify the benefits of telepresence, which provides high-definition video conferencing to create a virtual in-person experience among users particiapting from different locations.

The study uses forecast models to assess financial and environmental benefits of telepresence implementation of four teleconference rooms within 15 global 500 companies.

The final report, "Telepresence Revolution", concludes that telepresence technologies carry significant environmental and economic benefits, and indicates how projected usage would drive economy wide benefits.
