The media regularly cover the Alliance by highlighting our accomplishments in energy efficiency and quoting our experts. The latest media coverage of the Alliance includes:

  • Alliance President Kateri Callahan joined forces with Ed Crawford, CEO of Philips, to pen an op-ed for The Hill’s Congress Blog to shed light on the future of the light bulb. The new lighting standards not only will provide consumers with even more choices, said Callahan and Crawford, but they also will allow the average family of four to save more than $200 a year just by using more efficient bulbs. Additionally, backtracking from the new standards means that “American businesses that continue to produce only the same products will be outpaced by international competition.”
  • Energy-efficient investments don’t only help you go green. As Forbes shared on its blog, upgrades like additional home insulation can provide federal tax credits.
